Aeroflex / Weinschel offers a wide selection of Manual Step Attenuators. These step attenuators are ideal for those applications demanding broadband accuracy with low SWR and accurate repeatability over large attenuation ranges. The Aeroflex / Weinschel Step Attenuators utilize the excellent performance characteristics of the Aeroflex / Weinschel fixed coaxial attenuators. Aeroflex / Weinschel Step Attenuators can be found in many types of ATE and OEM systems located throughout the world. Other features of Aeroflex / Weinschel Step Attenuators include:

  • Long Life and High Repeatability.
  • Choice of Standard Attenuation Ranges - Aeroflex / Weinschel offers different attenuation ranges to select from. These range from 0 to 9 dB in 1 dB steps up to 0 to 110 dB in 10 dB steps.
  • RF Designs (Model 3033) - These models featureca rugged cost effective design for wireless, cellular, PCS and Modem Test Applications as well operation from dc to 2.0 and attenuation ranges from 0 to 10 dB in 1 dB steps, 0 to 11 in 1 dB steps.
  • Stability - The resistive elements used in these Step Attenuators provide long-term stability over temperature and humidity.
  • Quality Connectors - Aeroflex / Weinschel Step Attenuators are supplied with stainless steel Type N or SMA connectors that mate non-destructively with connectors per MIL-C-39012.
  • Broadband - The Aeroflex / Weinschel Precision Step Attenuator line provides a wide selection of frequency ranges from dc to 40 GHz.
  • Product Uniformity - High volume fabrication techniques, including injection molding, stamping, broaching and thick film printing ensure a cost effective and uniform product.
