HP/Agilent 4352B VCO/PLL Signal Analyzer
The 4352B is normally used with a low noise signal generator to make up a 4352S test system. This system can evaluate the characteristics of VCOs and PLLs that are essential to designing local oscillators used in RF wireless communications equipment. This system can operate in either Signal Analyzer or VCO tester modes up to 3 GHz. When configured with the HP 43521A downconverter unit, the system can operate from 10 MHz to 12.6 GHz. The 4352B provides and controls the DC power supply, the low noise DC control voltage source and the 1kHz signal source necessary for VCO tuning characterizing. The model 4352B has excellent phase noise performance (-157 dBc/Hz at 1 MHz offset). Automatic measurements capability and power analysis functions are included.
